AVG pop-up to upgrade

For anyone who uses AVG Free Version and who has started getting an upgrade pop-up in the middle of the screen, Google was my friend in finding this fix:

The popup is an HTML file with associated images, stored in Program Files\AVG\AVG8\Notifications with other files that AVG actually needs to function.

I did the following:

- Navigate to that folder, and set the view to 'Details', and sort by 'Date Modified'.
- Create a new subfolder. I called mine "AVG popup".
- Copy all the files modified July 17th (or near date) into that new folder.

It worked for me.
