It seem I cannot log onto the mail server, if I log onto Idnet main page the text is corrupted, I believe they may have a problem , can anybody else confirm this ?

Mouseroo

I can't get mail either  :(
POP3 is failing authentication, and webmail is giving me this message:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

Anyone else affected?

As far as I have been able to test, mail, RSS, blog space & the photo gallery are all down. The customer portal is delivering gibberish, but web space and FTP are working. We've alerted IDNet, but it's a matter of when the calls get picked up.

Tried to logon using gw5 instead of gw6 (former gateway) as part of the logon, but it still doesn't want to know.
I think this will be a call to support tomorrow.

Hopefully it will be sorted before then, if it's a remote problem...

The database server fell over. That holds all the user names and passwords, so it stopped people signing in to email, it stopped data being accessed for the RSS feed and customer portal, stopped sign ins for blog, gallery and, in some cases, FTP. It also stopped the out of hours voice number from forwarding messages to support. Fairly comprehensive really. :)
