It seem I cannot log onto the mail server, if I log onto Idnet main page the text is corrupted, I believe they may have a problem , can anybody else confirm this ?

Mouseroo

I can't get mail either  :(
POP3 is failing authentication, and webmail is giving me this message:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

Anyone else affected?

Same here. Glad to know it's not just me. No doubt IDNet are aware and will fix it soon.

There is no sign of any of my IDnet mail accounts showing up on IDnet.net login page  :dunno:

Glad it's not just me. :)

Thanks for the info peeps.  Hopefully get my mail soon.  :fingers:

This outage means that my email from the National Lottery advising that I have won the jackpot is going to be delayed.  :bawl:

As far as I have been able to test, mail, RSS, blog space & the photo gallery are all down. The customer portal is delivering gibberish, but web space and FTP are working. We've alerted IDNet, but it's a matter of when the calls get picked up.

Hmm. Definitely can't FTP, but I am wondering if this something to do with the fact that my gateway was changed.  :dunno:

Rik

I can, so I'd say yes atm, or I'm being lucky. ;)

Tried to logon using gw5 instead of gw6 (former gateway) as part of the logon, but it still doesn't want to know.
I think this will be a call to support tomorrow.

Rik

Hopefully it will be sorted before then, if it's a remote problem...

Everything down here getting DNS errors. I have logged a call with support. The service has been up and down this past week or so, especially since I moved to ADSL2+ (not sure if thats connected)

Rik

It may be to do with BT's engineering work if everything is down.
