Ok now I'm not trying to tempt fate or anything (please fate gods Im not honest). But 38 hours at 5mb+ and an snr as below.

router now not re-syncing. and line profile at 5500.

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
    Your DSL connection rate: 7832 kbps(DOWN-STREAM),  1081 kbps(UP-STREAM)
    IP profile for your line is - 5500 kbps
    Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5167 kbps

Connection Speed 7833 kbps 1082 kbps
Line Attenuation 40.5 db 18.9 db
Noise Margin 10.1 db 8.8 db

sync rate steady for nearly two days now.

Well, BT did say they knew what the problem was, so maybe they have managed to fix it. Of course, it's the weekend tomorrow...  :evil:

ah well Rik, your cynicism was correct, we're back at 1.5mb now and struggling. maybe if BT stopped using duct tape and actually started looking at the causes we'd be a lot better :rant2:
