Interesting, David, the two sites I check, Zen and Plusnet have nothing showing, so it may be a voice line issue, rather than ADSL specific.

A major incident affecting the feeder cable for the area, or a fire, say, at the exchange, David. Depending on scale, there's a whole range of possibilities.

If you'd have been here last night, David, you'd have slept well - we all did. ;D

:hehe: I have never slept well................thats why I used to love nightwork years ago it was great .I get tired around 11pm but usually wide awake by 11.30......,I had all sorts of tests years ago until the smart Dr said ditch the sleeping pills and accept the fact you need about 3 hours a night and he is right so I just accept it.

I dont like being awake when the birds start the dawn chorus I would gladly shoot them all  ;D
