I have aquired a brand new 2700 with a dual SSID.

I have successfully used the "javascript:document.pagepost.submit()" on the ISP detsils screen. It workes fine - it's brilliant.

For the first couple of days, the management web pages had  2wire logo on them and they had addresses like

http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=J03&THISPAGE=J07&NEXTPAGE=J03

But now those don't exist - I get 404 Not Found error. Instead I get pages with a BT logo and with addresses like http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=C_1_0

Has my router been updated automatically?

Should I be worried?

Can I stop it from doing any further automativ upgrades?

Hi and :welc:  :karma:

Alan (kinmel) is our 2700 expert, and I expect he will be along to answer properly at some point soon.  In the meantime, can you tell us what software version your 2700 is running?  It should be on the 'Home' page.  Mine is: 5.29.107.19, and if it makes you feel any better, also displays BT logos.  :)

I am no expert !

The router has updated to version 6 and it will continue to work just fine.  There are a couple of minor bugs in the firmware, so allow future updates to occur.

What is the date of the referendum for England to become an independent country ?

Thanks, Alan.  :thumb:

rabbit321,
Welcome  :welc: :karma:.
You will find this site http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm useful if you haven't already been there.
Lots of info on the 2700 and quite a bit on V6 firmware. V6 introduced a facility for the 2700 to act as a BT Openzone hotspot, it should be disabled by default with an upgrade from v5 but you might want to check and make sure.
You dont want to be offering all your bandwidth for BT Openzone users!.
