Well, it will be changing in the next expansion so it won't be the same again :P

Anyone else play it? My "main" is a Night Elf Priestess, Shadow/Holy specced. She's fun, though was horrible to level.

I hop on and off the game. Winter time i generally go on a bit, though not sure if will get on this winter due to studying etc. I have a 79 twink NE rogue. Built for pvp. Pvp is really what makes the game for me. I'm looking forward to the new expansion a lot, and will defintely be back on there at some point after the expansion has come out :)

I used to play, I had an 80 destruction lock and I wrote a lot on elitist jerks about perfecting destruction warlocks in PvE.

Don't play now and I feel like I'v been given my life back. I met up with some people from my guild and realised what sad lonely people they actually were. It really put me off. I didn't want to get like them where the only thing they have left in life is WoW.

Problem is that once you get in too deep, you can't go back to the casual play and enjoy it.

I'm keeping my eyes on the development of MortalOnline. I might give that a go when It's released.

I'm in a very casual guild, mainly made up of people who met in Second Life. We have fun, and we chat while playing, which makes it good.

Johan's in a casual raiding guild, in Ulduar at the moment. He has the time for it, though :P

I run a large semi-hardcore Alliance Guild. We have players from all over the world but generally only take on players from the geriatric to nearly dead age range (in gaming terms) i.e. over 21  ;D My Guild is currently working on the hard mode encounters in the new instance and had three 1% wipes on Anub'arak (10 player) last night  :'(

I've been playing since the day of release and enjoy it just as much today as I did at the game's launch. I think the reworking of the old content is one of Blizzard's better ideas and I'm really looking forward to it :)

I cancelled both my accounts this week. I enjoy playing it when I do, but I'd rather be learning to play my guitar. I realised how little I've managed to get done in the last few months since playing it again!

I actually played this game in the closed beta years ago, then the beta and finally got the collectors edition (it gets really old, people asking where I got my mini diablo from!). Originally I was playing in a guild called gimpstars international (I loved that name :D) and that was casual but progressive. When things started getting more and more serious I cancelled my account. The original game seemed to bring out the hardcore player in people, which I hate.

After about 7 months I came back and started playing my mage again with Hellscreams main guild at the time which was fun, but then it became a chore as you had to spend a LOT of time grinding for money, items pots to go into BWL. Then there were the server issues week in week out. That lead to me cancelling again.

TBC came out and I came back in my mates guild which was fun for a while, but as soon as I got to 70 it became very apparent that you have to grind and grind as there's nothing left to do other than waste countless hours doing high level instances repeatedly in the hope you got one of the rare items.

WOLK came out and I levelled my warlock which was fun, but again after two weeks of that, I'd got all the kit I could without doing 25 mans. Now the new instances came out and within 4 days of VERY casual playing I had all but one new item, without going to 25 man instances.

I just can't stand being forced to pay for it, then being forced to do incredibly dull repetitive things to get reputation. My other pet peeve with it is the fact that you have achievements (which is blatantly stolen from consoles, but a great idea for longevity) for buying items, which means you have to spend god knows how many hours grinding to get items to sell in order to make over 30k gold to buy pointless items (ring, mount, bag, etc).

At the end of the day, it's fun but a MASSIVE time waste.

So that's 2 of us, quite a long way short of a raid - even more so as I play (Mostly) on Gilrain!

I still play WoW but RL means i dont get a lot of time and only do 5 mans when i can. I did raid for a while back in the days of 40 mans...MC/ BWL/AQ40.

Under 10 of us in the guild, mainly all with limited time and hence none of us raid.

i've played since Final Beta and then since day 1 of wow and still only have 1 level 80 which i think makes me unique ! Just got my Tauren Druid on Bronze Dragonflight.

The new patch which has just come out with the new 5 mans is good to give new content for non raiders. I dislike the random dungeon finder as it seems to reward playing with strangers which is not why i play.

i guess i'll probably end up getting the expansion next year.
