This morning at 2.11am, we lost PPP. As we were still up (Johan was on WoW, I was reading blogs) I decided to try and reconnect. "Wrong username or password". Thinking this was odd, I re-entered all my details, and it just kept coming up with "wrong username or password". We went to bed (as I was very tired and no internet = no WoW for Johan) and according to my logs it came back up again at 2.28am.

What happened? Why did it fail to authenticate? Should I be expecting it to do it again?

Sounds like BT were configuring the radius servers, Danni, but support could tell you for sure.

Ahh, but that means contacting support :P Nah, I'll take your answer for it, and hope they don't do it when we're raiding or something. It's annoying :P

BT seem to be doing a lot of things sneakily at the moment. I don't like it :(

Let's face it, if they didn't do anything we'd still be complaining......    :)

Rik

I'll try and find out more for you, Danni.

Hi Danni

Support confirm there was planned BT work, which they weren't told about till this morning.

So now BT are informing people after the event. That's a major improvement over not bothering at all
