Yes, it's BT that validates the password before putting the connection across to IDNet, Tac. (I think  ;))

Hi all,

Just a quick 'follow-up' post.

I contacted support but unfortunately there is nothing that they can do 'after the event' to identify what the problem may have been.  Their tests showed that everything is fine now and, indeed, everything has been fine ever since my last post.  Weird.

Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work.

Hi Bob,

Glad to hear you're up and running again. Sounds like he fault-fairy visited in the middle of the night and mended it :)
