TBH I read it and thought the same. He seemed to be saying "I'm sick of Windows but because Mac users are elitist/ a cult/snobs/Insert epithet of choice, I'll stick with it, rather than try something different".

Absolutely. I don't mind people saying they don't want to switch for good reasons, but people like that who think they're cool by not joining this apparent Mac club are just looking for attention, imho.

I confess that, like Gary, I've reached that point in life where I don't particularly want to know how things work, and certainly not spend hours making them work. Instead, I want to use the technology, not learn how to maintain it. For that reason, I can envisage a time when I will make the swap to a Mac system.

Actually, Sebby, it's a bit of fun. It's satirical. He's a journalist seeking to entertain. And doing a pretty good job as well.

I've just re-read the article myself and I think the bits about Windows may even be funnier on rereading than the bits about Mac.

OTOH I still like the characterisations of the true Mac evangelist. Priceless.

It would be to much hassle to change to a Mac even if I wanted to. All my invoicing, payroll and everything else work fine on a PC and the thought of moving across would give me nightmares.
