Have tried all morning to upload an image to 'Fun & Games' thread and get this message: 'The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator'. Have reduced the image drastically but to no avail. Usually if the image is too large the message states that but now it warns of the upload folder being full.

Any ideas?

Rik

The folder is probably full, Q. I'll go take a look...

Yes Rik, working fine now, many thanks :thumb:

I'm going to have to ask IDNet to put in a bigger hard drive soon. ;D

Why don't you start to persuade people to use Photobucket.com?

Where I come from it's rude to upload your photos/images to other people's hard drives.  ;D

Seriously, though, IDNet shouldn't have to provide this sort of storage nowadays.

Sky/Easylink LLU. Thankfully! ;-)

People are welcome to use services like Photobucket, Bob, or even their IDNet webspace. The reason we've always allowed uploading is that it keeps it 'in house' so makes the forum snappier, and IDNet have been generous in the amount of server space they've allowed us. That may have to change at some point, of course.

I know a good reason not to, sites deemed as online storage, are blocked for me at work. :bawl:

We'll have a whip round for a couple more sticks of RAM while we're at it.
