iPhone update 3.1.2

Bug fixes etc from the update to 3.1 "Most importantly, the new OS apparently resolves the "coma" bug – a glitch that caused the iPhone to go to sleep for long periods of time. Apple said that the 3.1.2 update would also address a bug that caused occasional crashes during video streaming, and an issue with the interruption of cellular network services"

3.1.1 was the Version of 3.1 that was installed onto the iPod Touch, if you get what I mean

I do indeed so 3.1.1 was for the iTouch so the iPhone could not be 3.1.1 it had to be 3.1.2 to differentiate the models.

Looking at Apple discussions it implies there is a 3.1.2 version for the ipod touch, but who cares as long as it works

The 3.1.2 update is for both the iPhone and iPod Touch, 3.1.1 was 3.1 for the iPod Touch there wasn't a 3.1 for the iPod, Simples!!
