   Not quite ! According to samknows I am 349 meters ( straight line)

  Here are my router (834G ver1) stats....

ADSL Link             Downstream    Upstream
Connection Speed  8128 kbps     448 kbps
Line Attenuation       8 db            3.5 db
Noise Margin           12 db            23 db

By the way i am not thinking of moving  ;D

Ping issues should be solved as the new central comes online in the next few days. For the reast, I can only sit in the corner and go green. :)

I had assumed the new Central was already up and running.  I've had a pretty stable ping of around 30-40ms even at peak times ever since that bit of network disruption at the weekend.

I have also noticed a dramatic improvment (pings wise, never had a issue speed wise since i went to 1mb fixed) - theres still a few spikes, but sooo much better than before the weekend
