Not just you. It seems like whatever router is the one that hooks to wow-europe is the one that got taken down for maintenance.

EDIT : Bah, it's even taken out madness combat... noes... now I can't get my fix of violence either! :(

Yes the same thing here - was playing World of Warcraft and then *boom* disconnection and I cannot even connect to the WoW EU site.

Hope things are resolved soon

Similar problems here.  I can't see anything on the Jolt network - websites or servers.  Despite the latest announcement that everything's up and running now.  :(

What's your MTU set at?

If its set at 1500, it might might be worth setting it to 1452, which I believe is IDNet's recommended setting.

Not convinced this is the issue, but it's very easy to try.

Rik

I was told 1458 by Miriam, Jaydub, but we won't argue about 6, we're in the same ballpark. :) On Orange (I know!) I found 1430 worked best, at Nildram it was 1500, here, for me, 1458 works best. IIRC, on AOL it needs to be 1400.

Azazel

i should never speak too soon, it worked for abit after i changed it then it stopped again, why the hell does it do this!

Rik

Because it's a computer, and they were designed to give us so much grief that we would never have a moment's peace! ;)

What value do you have for RWIN?

Rik

Good point, Mo. Which tool are you using to changes things Azazel? Also what setting to you have in the router for MTU?

Azazel

heh the mtu on my pc is set at 1458 the MTU on my router was 1500 so i changed the router

Rik

I'd leave the router 'wide open' at 1500, then change MTU in Windows, but remember to keep RWIN in line with your value for best results.

I can only suggest you give support a call in the morning, we seem to have run out of ideas here (well, I do anyway ;) ).

Azazel

Trouble is for me that support is during my working hours so i cant be at home to call them to test why its going wrong, i have emailed the support address to see if they can suggest something by email.

Here is hoping!

Rik

I take it you don't get home before 18:30? See what your email brings, but it might be worth a chat to work out the best way to proceed.
