Router's dying- suggestions?

Well, as the topic says, my faithful 2-Wire 2700 is dying. The wireless keeps cutting out, and we've lost about 2mb off our sync (and the noise margin has been increased to 12).

As nice as it was, I'd rather not have a BT branded router next time. Since wireless N has been approved, we may as well get a new shiny router (and see whether the wireless connection will stretch to the bus stop- well, I can dream ;)). What are the current good guys out there? I'm on Max at the moment, but if BT ever get around to upgrading our exchange I'd like the new router to play nice.

Other than wireless N, we need 4 ethernet ports (or I'll have to get a switch as well). Detailed logs and things are nice, but not necessary so long as I can get sync speed, noise margin and stuff information. Port forwarding though must be reasonably easy (as in as easy as configuring Linux using the command line).

Any suggestions?

The DG834 v4 is getting a lot of votes, Danni, but I don't think it's N.

Nope, it's not.

At the moment my wireless signal goes just past the pub before cutting out. I need another 20 metres to get to the bus stop :P I'm hoping an N router will get just that little bit further. If I get a longer modem cable (and a power extension cord) I can move the modem to the other side of the room and that'll be about 6 metres closer... :)

I've Netgear DGN2000, I've gained an extra 1.5mb on my connection and noise margin is between 11&12 day and night.

its a broadcom chipset so should be good on most lines.

Thanks Paul. Will look at that one :)

Not so great for playing World of Warcraft, though (or CoD 6).

I'm gonna give it a couple of weeks then see what I can find.
