Interesting... I've got 11.7.700.225 installed and an update check from sysprefs says it's the latest version :dunno:

New versions take longer to propagate, Bill also these are not in the background ones, they ask you from what I can remember. I just installed it as I was nosing around the adobe site and saw it. . http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=DAFYL

Ah right, cheers. I'll leave it until it shows on a sysprefs check, being bone idle I find it less hassle that way :P

I never use that, I prefer to update manually but I know what you mean.  ;)

After the update, my AEX spent so long at the amber light stage I thought the update had bricked it, but it got there eventually :eek4:

My first generation Time capsule complained similarly but got there in the end with the help of a reset.

Mine didn't need the reset, but it took long enough for me to find where I'd put the manual and read the troubleshooting part!

Firmware updates always make me nervous...

Flash player 11.8.800.168 is available on the download page as of now if anyone updates via just installing over the old version (no need to remove it on OS X anymore) Later today via auto update I imagine

As Steve's link indicates, there's a couple of updates for Snow Leopard and Lion for those still using them (eg me, SL on one machine).

It wasn't until I was updating the last machine that I realised it was Friday 13th ( :eek4: ), but all went smoothly.

Looks like the updates well at least on 10.8.5 have sorted out the 'unicode of death on the Macs' still out there for iOS6 though, although iOS7 will cure that. I imagine they will have to patch iOS6 as not everyone will update straight away.

This one, Simon 11.8.800.168? thats only just come out, or was it 11.8.800.94? It could be your drivers as Flash uses hardware acceleration from your graphics card maybe?  ??? Flash causes people so many issues.
