i love BSOD

did u try just yanking the power cord leaving it a bit and then try to boot the system again.

My computer on the release date for modern warefare 2 my computer decided to change which drive was the primary then it decided it just wouldnt dectect any harddrives.  that was really really annoying and all from a restart because steam wouldnt let me activate it

Rik

I did, Colin. None of the usual stuff would work. It shut down OK last night too, so no clues there.  :dunno:

Glad that your backup worked, Rik. That reminds me that I should make one, I've been neglecting to do it for a while.

.........and that reminds me Noreen to actually get Acronis and do a back up

I know, I know

It can be a 'life saver' Baz.

Sorry to hear this, Rik. It's lucky that you were able to get up and running again quickly and without data loss. :thumb:

Rik

Backup, backup, backup. ;) I still wish I knew what happened, though.

Look in the bios for an option to allow legacy usb devices (or something like that). That should allow the use of the wireless keyboard without being in windows.

Oh, and version 10 is the good version :)

Noreen

I've got version 10 of Acronis True Image but I think you'd be very lucky to get a copy now. Many agree that it's the best version, it's very easy to use and has saved me several times.

Rik

Just once is enough to justify owning it, isn't it. :)
