Thanks Bill, further info is rather confusing  ??? I can access from the W98 box which is hard wired to the router, but not from the lappy which is wireless connected.

However I can tracert and ping from the Lappy.  ??? I have deleted all cookies referring to the website to no avail.

Same happens with FF and IE6

Nowt here, perhaps they've closed for the hols. ;D

Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

You could try ipconfig /flushdns in your run box which would purge the DNS resolver cache ;)

Doesn't work on Win98....

wingco, are you running a firewall on the laptop? See what happens if you disable it (safe enough for a few minutes). My firewall has an oddity which won't let be access a couple of sites.

lol, doesn`t even exist on w98 ... should read more carefully, huh? :D

Bill

Well, ipconfig exists on Win98, so it's a fair enough mistake. It's the /flushdns that doesn't  :(

Have you ever had problems with a firewall denying certain sites? NetVada is temporary on my set up so I haven't bothered to try to fix it, I'll likely switch to Kaspersky when my NAV subscription expires.

Tried that didn`t work
