Gms Webmail

Have you emptied the trash? If not, look in there. If you have, I'm afraid it's gone and you would have to ask the sender to re-send.

Have to repeat myself here (sorry) but if you have a gmail (free) email address you can deal with emails as normal and if you delete it (by mistake) you can always retrieve it. This facility has  thankfully 'saved' me many many times. Regarding information security I have had absolutely no problem with gmail over an almost 4 year period. Gmail's spam filter is outstanding and I have had absolutely nil problems whatsoever.

Also, if you have to change ISP then there is no problem in changing pop or smtp details (not required). For me, gmail is honestly the best thing since sliced email programmes. :thumb:

Other than Google knowing all about you, Q. ;)

Somehow Rik I knew that you would jump in here. :thumb: As I say, they may(???) know all about me but for almost 4 years this has not raised it's (alleged) ugly head. 'Knowing all about me'  has not affected me one iota over this period and most definitely has not been a problem. Their spam filter has given me peace of mind and little inconvenience in managing my email transactions. For me, a great email programme! ;D

Each to his own, Q, I have GMail addresses but I only ever use them as throwaways. I use my domain for primary email, with idnet.com (and idnetters.co.uk) as backups.
