Hey,

Just thought I'd post this up as there have been a few others with similar problems when going to ADSL2+.

I've been using ADSL2+ for about 3-4 months now and have been a bit disappointed with the service (not from IDnet mind, just the tech in general) with my connection dropping to about 2400Kbps. I spoke to support Friday lunchtime and they told me they can't switch you from the 21CN network but they can stop sending an ADSL2+ signal down the wire - which has worked a treat!
I'm now back to syncing at 4600Kbps (and majorly happy that I can use the new xbox live HD streaming stuff!).

Many thanks to whoever it was I spoke to Friday in support too!

Probably Brian, but you're right, they can't get you moved back to a DSLAM but can tell the MSAN to work at ADSL1. For a handful of users, this is going to give better speeds.
