  i seem to have 'obtained' some software on my system with out my knowledge.just seen an icon in control panel for something called Windows Cardspace  :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Now where did I get that from  :mad: :mad:

I hate MS.  how do I get rid of it.Do i need it

I think its integral to netframework so cannot be uninstalled separately

Cardspace can be disabled Start > Run > services.msc > Windows CardSpace > Properties > Startup type: Disabled.

thanks Gary. is it of no use then.its set as manual at the moment

Noticed this in windows 7. It just looks like bloatware. At least it is not as obtrusive as Windows Live For Games. :(
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Curiously, mine is disabled and I don't remember doing that.
