Good Idea to Pay 12 Months in Advance in December?

Just paid for broadband 12 months in advance, with one month free, Can still cancel with one months notice.  Got vat at 15%. Was this a good idea? :dunno:

I would indeed, you save the best part of £50 on the year, and if you want to leave, you'll get a pro-rata rebate.
