Are you happy with it ?

I love it David and have had it for over a year now and I've never had to reboot it or tamper with it in anyway. The blue light switches itself off at intervals.  I love looking at it in the dark.  Sad person eh???

Oh, didn't know that.  Actually I bought it over a year ago from Amazon and paid a lot more than that for it.

I think the one in Argos is a DGN2000 which someone here is using and is happy, but unless your are planning on any wireless N acquisitions i.e new laptop etc its probably not worth it,although you may get a better range of g wireless performance than the DG834g.

Yep. I have the DGN2000. I don't use the wireless N part yet but the router is great and has a broadcom chipset.

I get full wireless signal throughout the house.

Esp like the 4 SSID that can have different options set, Its good for people that have a DS that only supports WEP. Set up a WEP wireless options and only enable it when you want it without touching the WPA one  ;D

David

Router just arrived... :red: just realised it is not wireless ...I really should try and stay awake

David

In  my haste I ordered the one on the link page which is the DG 834 v4 I have not opened it so there should be no problems returning the item

Ray

Oops!  ;D you shouldn't have a problem returning it, David, :)

Sorry, mea culpa, I was busy trying to locate a v4, and didn't stop to check whether it was wireless.

NP I should have checked it..I am just looking what they do have...as this is not opened I cant envisage a problem with returning it and it would be easier if I got my wireless router from them but if I cant a walk over to the shops later will sort it out...I might end up with the one Lona likes so much  ;D

There don't seem to be many wireless v4s out there, David, and you want to avoid the v5.

It looks OK, David, but seems a tad expensive. Might be worth Googling the model and see if you can do better elsewhere.
