Antivirus Live

My hubby managed somehow to pick up Antivirus Live while browsing online.  When I came home today he was in a panic until I discovered that Antivirus Live is in itself a virus.

I did a system restore and ran malwarebytes and adaware but I've read that it can re-install itself.

Has anybody here got caught out with it?

Not me, sorry. Try Super Anti Spyware rather than adaware, it's much more effective.

I see Antivirus 2009/20 a few times a month at work, Malwarebytes removes it everytime.
