Install of router stats

I hope this is the correct board...think so.I am trying to install the stats programme hereI have downloaded lite which appears to work but on the other had in the left hand corner shows a yellow triangle with the wrod "error" it is also on the bottom bar on the right hand side.
I have watched the video quite a few times (tutorial) and it seems to show more functions...would I be better to download the full version...Lite will log into my router so it has been set up correct I was wondering if my security could be stopping this from installing correctly

It's possible, David. Try switching off your firewall.

I will.I understand now how it works etc had a good read last night uninstalled then reinstalled so will try this I thought,given my limited knowledge that because of the nature of stats my security might think its a threat..will give it a go and see

What router do you have. I find the full Routerstats works with my Netgear DG834v3, but not with my Speedtouch 585v6. However, Routerstats lite works with the Speedtouch, but not the Netgear.

I have the DGN2000 Steve ...which isntnt listed on the drop down menu

Try using DG834N or DG834G settings if they're listed instead
