I've been looking for a new chair recently, yesterday I came across this http://www.milandirect.co.uk/shop/office-chair-aeron-inspired-mesh-ergonomic-headres/ It's not available until March though.

Looks preeeetty good for that price

I got mine in the end from a local office furniture place for about £140.

Does the trick :D

I got this from Staples http://www.staples.co.uk/furniture/executive-seating/leather-and-manager_s-chairs/regal-leather-faced-chair about 2 years ago. Its the most comfortable computer chair I have ever had. I went to staples to choose a chair as I have a lower back problem so could try before buying.

I quite like the look of this one:)

I am too mean, I bought a pair of these chairs for £54 each including delivery.

At that price, I'd expect it to be!   :o

What are they like, Alan?  I've bought several cheapish chairs in the past, and find that the 'leather' starts to split within a year or so, and the gas lifts won't take my weight!   :red:

They are fine, I find that they remain comfortable for just as long as ones costing £100.  That particular Ebay seller is very good, we bought one of these chairs 12 months ago and the gas lift leaked after a few weeks. The seller sent a new lift and mechanism straight out for next day delivery, the chair was repaired within 24 hours of failing.

I am sure that chairs costing £150+ are better, but are they that much better ?

I'd imagine they all use the same gas lifts anyway.  Can't order anything at the moment, as I won't be here for the delivery, but will keep that link in mind.  Thanks, Alan.  :)

I found and brought a 2nd hand one, excelent condition, only a few scuff marks on the base where shoes have rubbed the paint.
