Ive got a commondore amiga, and want to get rid of it!

I think its the 500 model, which is the basic model, but has been upgraded with "something or other" (memory i think)
Its in tip-top working condition, with some original games, and mounds of "copied" floppys...

Anyone have any idea where i can get rid of it? Cant really sell it via ebay, as i have no more information then what ive just said ;)

Lance

I would hang on to it for another 20 years or so and then sell it to a collector!

Otherwise, you could see if there are any communties online dedicated to the amiga and offer it up on there.  :)

commondore amiga

ooo,  I've got one of those in the Loft, complete with 20MB HDD and a Monitor. Might get it down and have a play with it later :)

Go to www.amigaworld.net - they have a classifieds section (you may need to register) and see if anyone wants it.

Having said that - I wouldn't expect much (I have an A500 and 3 A1200's in the cupboard) since they aren't exactly a scarcity. And most of the users there now have either very souped up A1200s (like I used to have) or PPC machines running AOS4 - but you may find an enthusiast collector there.

Tell them D-Dan sent you (I was/am a long time member there). :)

Slightly OT here, but I tried to get rid of my Durst enlarger a few years ago. No-one was interested (and I was giving it away), even at the local photographic club. Everyone had switched to digital. Technology makes things redundant at an alarming rate!

Wish I'd known about that Durst!  :) Oh well, can't get a coconut every time.

Got a custom built 1200 amiga myself! Did my own tower conversion, came out pretty fair to be honest, kept it simple as I'm that kind of boy really! ;)

Me too. It had never been used, I bought it, then moved and never got around to building a darkroom here. It ended up at a charity shop and was probably sold for £5. I'd much preferred to have given it to someone who wanted it...
