QuoteA Downing Street petition is calling for the UK government to drop Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) and move to a more modern browser

About time as-well!

I think everyone should put this on there sites (note : you will need jQuery from jQuery.com)!

<script type="text/javascript">
if ($.browser.msie && $.browser.version == '6.0') {
alert("USE A BETTER BROWSER!!!!");
}
</script>

Actually we've been using version 6 for a long time now but I heard yesterday that my manager is getting version 8 so hopefully they'll roll it out to the rest of the company soon.

Most of them are the same as the private ones though, aren't they?

I only find the waiting room terrifying, once I'm in the chair I'm fine.

You should never feel pain with modern techniques, even the injection. After that, it's just a noise to me...

You do when they blast cold air at your teeth, to see which one makes you fly out the chair.  :mad:

The dentist can't numb my top right canine tooth. She even injected into the nerve cavity in the cheekbone, as a final attempt, after 5 normal injections didn't work.

Unfortunately, you can't block an upper quadrant as you can a lower one, Glenn. Has she worked out what's happening?

Nope, it was a few years ago, I haven't had any need for treatment to that tooth since  :fingers:

I never feel pain at my dentists not from the injection or the air blast or anything, I must admit finding a good private one is a god send, I almost fell asleep when he did one of my root canals, I quite like going, he has a screen over head and you can see what's going in if you want to, its fascinating but after 45 minutes laying down I doze off  ;D

An X-ray could be revealing. Canines often get caught up with the sinuses...
