QuoteA Downing Street petition is calling for the UK government to drop Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) and move to a more modern browser

http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/ie6upgrade/

About time as-well!

I think everyone should put this on there sites (note : you will need jQuery from jQuery.com)!

<script type="text/javascript">
if ($.browser.msie && $.browser.version == '6.0') {
alert("USE A BETTER BROWSER!!!!");
}
</script>

Actually we've been using version 6 for a long time now but I heard yesterday that my manager is getting version 8 so hopefully they'll roll it out to the rest of the company soon.
