Apologies iof this has been posted before but I received this email today

Your internet access is going to get suspended

The Internet Service Provider Consorcium was made to protect the rights of software authors, artists.
We conduct regular wiretapping on our networks, to monitor criminal acts.

We are aware of your illegal activities on the internet wich were originating from

You can check the report of your activities in the past 6 month that we have attached. We strongly advise you to stop your activities regarding the illegal downloading of copyrighted material of your internet access will be suspended.

Obviously fake, it came with an attachment that contains an executable which I'm not going to run but saving it to my desktop and running MSE against it showed it as clean - so might not be a virus itself or maybe MSE just misses it!

Thanks for the heads up. Might be worth forwarding the email to support so they can look at blocking it.

That's a thought but I don't use IDNet for mail so it may well get blocked by them anyway, it was one of those that came from the same address it was being sent to which is always a 100% giveaway!

Funny how these 'duff' emails always contain serious spelling errors ???

Aye, they always look as if they were written by schoolkids using a pocket translation dictionary.

My excuse is that although I can spell I am unable to type!
