Anyone know of strange happenings yesterday?

As I mentioned yesterday my router was effectively locked up when I got in from work, and I assumed it was an issue with the router. Apparently my sisters connection went wonky too, and last night the net was a bit hit or miss loading pages, and my profile has dropped from over 11000 to just over 9500. My sister is also with IDnet, and has also just switched over to the 21cn gubbins :)

Rather than pester IDnet support, does anyone know of any problems with the 21cn service, specifically in the Wrexham area, or with IDnet itself? It seems okay today, but it's still not as smooth as it was 2 days ago. I dunno what's happened, but something has!

I just checked my profile and it's already crept back up to just under 10,000. So maybe whatever went pear shaped is now...erm going apple shaped? :D

It's actually been a bit wobbly at peak times over the last couple of days, but for what I use the net for at the moment, it's not bothering me. However my sisters line, which is far worse than mine, is seeing the full force of whatever is going wrong. When I see a wobble, their line drops. I'm pretty sure it'll be the exchange doing something or I'm sure we'd see other people posting here about it. About 30 minutes ago webpages were stuttering to load, and I noticed my sisters other half went offline. When he came back he said his internet had gone "weird".

I'm hoping it's just a teething thing. After this coming week, I'm off for a fortnight so I can watch it more closely anyway.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll stick a question in here.

Why if the Netgear DG348GT official firmware version is 1.03.22, do Sky users seem to be using 1.03.87 firmware? I just stumbled across this when I was checking to see if the firmware I have causes problems of any sort.

I hate branded firmware. Ever since I saw what Vodaphone use to do to the icons and displays of their phones. They turn a beautiful 16 million colour screen into a 15 colour pixelated nightmare.
Hope it gets sorted Naill.
do you know of any "extra" options for the router? Such as admin privileges or hidden options.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
