Opera 10.50 for Windows is released

Opera 10.50 for Windows is now released. Head over to http://www.opera.com/download to get your hands on it now.

Final editions for UNIX and Mac users are still being developed but the developers are making good progress.

Opera is still liable to throw up "Error Page". Sometimes a second attempt works, sometimes not. I'll risk another example

The turbo option can be a bit odd sometimes, I've had the Idnetters wap page showing sometimes.

I am not sure but with the turbo option on the request is directed to the Opera servers,its not a consistent response but I've seen on a couple of occassions

That's exactly how I feel about Firefox, I know it's a good browser but somehow I've never clicked with it so have always stuck with IE/Opera instead.

On a different note, I wonder how people will get on with all the new browsers Microsoft is having to offer us as a part of the EU case - 12 of them including some lesser know ones (Sleipnir or K-meleon anybody?) although apparently that's not enough choiuce as according to this article more than 1/2 of them are based on the same rendering engine as IE apparently. What's the odds that people will end up with more spam, more viruses and claim that it is all Microsoft's fault.

It's great fun trying new browsers and then deciding that the one you usually use is actually the best. I have tried most over a period if time but always end up going back to IE as I still think they are the best. Now I suppose I will have to try the latest version of Opera just so I can try to find out why some one likes it. I still have the latest version of Firefox on my computer but very rarely use it.
