Baz

DOH!!!!  that might explain it then.

but...BT working late  :o :o  surely not

Rik

Many changes are made overnight, but I'd have expected this to be a day time job as it involves physically moving cables at the exchange.

Line Attenuation    42.0 db    22.9 db
Noise Margin    7.2 db    6.1 db

I just done a BT speed test and they said my connection/sync speed was 9168, router says its 9171.. what one is correct?  ;D

Both. ;D The router figure seems to be the actual speed, the BT test seems to be the nearest figure that BT recognise.

emailed support last night.got this today

Hi Baz,

BT have advised this morning they are currently unable to complete the
order as they have lack of capacity at the exchange. Engineers are
currently working within the exchange to deliver further capacity,
however BT have advised they will be unable to process any orders within
the exchange for ADSL2+ until after 20/04/2010.

Kind regards,

Brian

Rik

Support won't be able to do anything until April 20, sadly. :(

 >:(  spoilt my day now.was looking forward to it, should've known better really

Rik

I despair with BT, they don't seem to know what's happening or, when they do, they don't bother to communicate until it's too late. :(
