That's a shame, Gary.  I know how you were looking forward to the new one.  :(
I was UPS really mucked it up, and Apple said they could replace the screen and glass front, but I'm not happy with that option, also when it was on my desk it was TOO big, you need a large room for a 27" screen and a very large desk, I prefer my 21.5 size wise, so maybe no bad thing, they are sending me a fee copy of OSX 10.6 which I will sell and Aperture 3 as a freebee instead, cant complain at that and I still have three years on my current Mac's warranty , maybe its for the best in some odd way. Justina said I was being picky over this tint as she could not see it herself, so maybe I am better off in the long term, better the devil you know   :)
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

There appears to be some reported (and tested) regressions in 10.6.3, specifically related to OpenGL applications (between 10% and 40% decrease in throughput). If you're not running anything 3D intensive, you're probably best still to upgrade.

It looks like on the same machine the higher the resolution the faster you go ,which is definitely odd.
