Hi, This question has probably been asked before, if so I apologise.

What are the different rules regarding peak times and off peak times as far as bandwidth is concerned?

cavillas

On and off peak are only counted with Home Supermax. between 8am and 1am(peak time) the allowance is 15GB a month the rest of the 60GB (45GB) allowance is between 1am and 8am(off peak time). If you were to use over 15Gb within the 8am to 1am slot then you would be charged an extra £1.00 per GB, it wold be the same if you went over 45Gb in the 1am to 8am slot.

For all the other packages there is NO off peak or peak times.  With all packages there is no limits for uploads.

Below is IDNets Max Package offer.

Home SuperMax
£34.99 up to 8Mb
Includes 60GB/month data transfer (15GB 8am-1am)

Thank you for explaining, I am on Home-Lite so it appears I can forget about peak and off peak.

Rik

Indeed, and uploads, just keep an eye on the d/l figure, which you can check here, login and select Broadband.

Yes thanks, I was struggling to keep in the limits at 2Gb but since it was raised to 5Gb its just fine for me.

Rik
