to get down behind the desk,unplug all the cables and give the computer a dusting down.Havent done it for ages and its sounding a bit noisy.so if im not back here soon ive come across probs

yeah mines usually not bad but I had to move it a while back due to new furniture and it doesnt have as much air space around it now so I better have a look.



as a side note, got delayed a bit there had to rescue the wife from a spider walking across the floor. ::)

anyway joking aside(if thats what Rik calls it)  i'm back,dust free and sounding quiet as a mouse.


had to get in with the vacuum hose and a soft make up brush,not mine BTW, as the can of air was making a cuppa  :out:

i have been lazy recently and only realised the problem when my cpu was at a toasty 70c when making some compression work.

checked inside and the stock cpu cooler was clogged up - took it off and the thermal cr*p was literally baked =/ dodgy

cleaned it off, got some proper AS mx-2 on it, found my old zalman cooler and wapped it on - temps are now a nice 30c and sticking there  :thumb:

time for some overclocking tho

I would rik but i live with a wife and kids, they all moan its cold, i walk around the house with shorts on even in winter melting.
