Despite the increased screen sensitivity of large-display smartphones such as the iPhone, many of us still prefer to have a good, solid keyboard with real, tactile keys for texting, firing out emails or composing our memoirs.  While predictive text systems like SureType or T9 can be fast, they can also be a pain, so there's really no substitute for a fully-specced Qwerty keyboard if your messages need to go beyond the Twitter level.

An interesting choice of non-touchscreen smartphones, with 'real' keyboards.  :)

I can't believe they rated the HTC Touch Pro 2 so highly. They certainly can't have tried using one for long in real life situations. If they had they would have found HTC's Touch flo interface slow and annoying. They would have also found that when composing an message with the keyboard, when you use your index finger to support the beast of a phone it keeps knocking the button which turns off the display - highly annoying. Also, they would have found that when going through contacts and dialling a number it takes an age as does when a call finishes (it takes a good 10 seconds sometimes from the call finishing to being able to do something else on the phone).

Can you tell I'm not a fan of the phone  ;D
