Well, before Ericsson took over running Three's network. They brought in a Pointsec encrypted laptop, boasting it was uncrackable. Three's network security boss gave it back to them unlocked, inside 30 minutes. He never said how he did it, to us or Ericsson.

Baz

yeah thats gone through with the seller at amazon

got an email from the mymemory place.it may help any one who has similar problems.

British Telecom has confirmed a fire at their Exchange in the Paddington area of London.  This has impacted a huge number of UK businesses, including Sage Pay and the major banks that route transactions through the Exchange.  Sage Pay has taken action on your behalf by quickly moving transaction processing to our backup data centre.  However, the issue has affected connectivity to some banks who rely on the exchange and we are currently unable to process via those banks at this time.

Please note, as banks and payment providers look for alternative transaction routing solutions away from the Paddington Exchange, this could create some general capacity issues, resulting in transaction 'time-outs'.

Rik

Thanks for that, Baz. It just goes to show how much of an impact this incident is having.

I know they will blame Royal Mail, which they have, but come on....12 days for 1st class delivery

kinmel

I ordered ink cartridges from IJT on Friday and they arrived this morning, I have never had a problem with deliveries from them.

Perhaps it was Royal Mail.
Alan  ‹(•¿•)›

What is the date of the referendum for England to become an independent country ?

Baz

well I think they will blame them but the parcel when it arrived didnt look like it had been 'hanging around some depot' for a while, it was not dirty, crumpled, worn or the like,it looked freshly sent

dont know  :dunno:   doesnt matter now I have it.have sent them an email and said so

Rik

Royal Mail fly a lot of internal post, Baz, so may have been caught out by the flying restrictions.
