Well Newnet say that resetting the training period is unlikely to hike the speed so they have reported it to BT as a speed issue.

Hoping I get the new router soon, anything I need to tweak on it or do they generally just plug and play?

Plug & play, it will work out the connection details, you just need to enter your username and password. When you do, don't hit the submit button, but type in the address bar Javascript:document.pagepost.submit() and hit return.

I was considering a move to AAISP and had I worked normal hours I would because the off peak bandwidth is very generous but their peak charges are not that cheap.

I've bought Alan Wake, will have to buy some of the Cisco books and the Nokia C5 when it comes out but apart from that the rest of my money is headed for the savings account.

Will get it in as soon as.

Should receive it by Friday no problem, have had a word with the ConDems (think about that description!?) and they have promised to facilitate the router as fast as possible, (at the moment they will promise us anything)
