Nothing is perfect, not even my ignorance!

Rik

I didn't like it when I tried it, BB, and replaced it with NOD.

I found it flagged too many false positives, but as a suite, it was OK.  Would recommend F-Secure over it.

The question in my opinion is why? If you are happy with NOD or Seamonkey why change? BullGuard are paying to be available on many new PC's and I would doubt that it will improve on your preferred choice. :dunno:

All Medions come with Bullguard, BB.  Uninstall it.  I use Avast.

I use NOD32 and I'm sticking with it. I'm currently mulling over switching to Windows 7, so may upgrade to the full NOD package. Not sure yet.

I used Avast but had some issues when I upgraded to V5 but to be fair I think its due to the aging of my XP install (I usually scrub the hard disk every 12 months but have not done so for the past couple of years. (on the To-Do list when I get a moment)

I am now currently using Microsoft's Security Essentials

MSE seems quite well spoken of by some.  I've yet to try it myself.

You're supposed to be Skint, Niall. You can't afford to spend money. ;)

MSE seems to be doing the job for me.

Payday today ;)

I'm actually buying a treadmill off a mate instead. Spent a day clearing out the garage, I've got my weight bench in there already so just need the treadmill. We're having the glaziers replace the broken window. It was nice of the neighbours kids to smash our window and not even own up to it when there's only one house behind us with kids.

Use polycarbonate rather than glass, Niall, it's virtually indestructible.
