Rik

It reminds me of the plotters we used to use - though they didn't look like Lego. :)

Nope

The first school I went to was a Special Educational Needs school as the surgeon I was under was concerned that if I was knocked over my back could be damaged (I have Scoliosis of the spine) and the school educated kids up to 18 and they did teach design and had one in the 'senior area'

Glenn

We have a few 48" plotters at work, thankfully I don't support them.

Although I understood the principles of driving a scanner, actually watching one at work was still amazing at the time.

Sorry to hear about the scoliosis, Mitch, are you managing it OK?

Yes I have CP of the lower limbs (so I use a chair when out and about) and Scoliosis but I'm glad to say I'm not in pain so am very lucky.

Just got to learn to drive at some point soon otherwise network engineering will prove a bit of a problem as I want to work at the service provider level.

Rik

Would you be able to drive a normal car, or need a modified one, Mitch?

pctech

Modified with hand controls as to assist my walking I have a heel raise so it might be a bit heavy on the accelerator  ;D and it will need to be an automatic but apart from that, normal.

So so it'll be a Ford focus to begin with and if I get a really nice job I might buy myself a new Audi A4.
