Morning all...

...My usage seems to of malfunctioned!

Yesterday, i downloaded a file just over a GB, day 27 (yesterday) reports the correct usage (ish) - 1.xgb - however, today (28) - its up to .86Gb already?? - Checked l8nc graph (that always shows if somethings downloading by 300ms odd latency) - its flat as bone since about 9PM last night!

On top of that, My idnetfreemail.co.uk has gone! totally?!? - its no longer even listed in email on the CP - it was there yesterday?!

My usage is also wrong, it is showing that off peak yesterday I downloaded 0.13GB (130mb). Seeing that the only thing running is L8NC, and the fact my router wasn't even connected for all but 2 off peak hours that seems a bit high!

My email all seems to be fine though.

I've heard that logging out and then back in can fix the usage problem, but I've never been able to prove it. However, the email issue needs a call to support (or an email from a spare address).

"or an email from a spare address"

Done :)

Actually just looking through emails from 05/06 - suprisingly interesting!

Just had a thought, I wonder whether your switch from fixed-rate to Max might be behind the email problem. Perhaps, and I'm only surmising, your account got 'switched off' in the process and no-one spotted the email wasn't switched back on afterwards. I'm probably way off, I have no idea what the mechanics of the change are, but...

Its unlikely, i switched from max to fixed without any problems.

The switch itself is done by BT - which is seperate from Idnet's email ;)

Rik

I told you I was surmising. :)

My router has been turned off for a number of hours so I don't think this will help me. I'll keep a watch on it and report back later!

Er, if you've read Avengers' tech support jokes, that doesn't mean you place your wrist watch on the router. :) :out:
