Been looking for a quick easy way to dock IDE or SATA (3.5" or 2.5") hard drives for backup or virus scanning etc.

Seems a great idea to me...anyone seen them on other sites for cheaper?

cheers

Not cheaper, but it's the only one I've found so far. I'm looking for an IDE to SATA or USB converter as my case layout forces me to leave my second drive bay out as the graphics card is much longer than they were when the case was originally made :(

{edit} Actually this one is different to yours. Also I could have sworn that price on Ebay was cheaper when I looked yesterday, but there's still only one bid which I'm assuming is yours :D

Well I've just taken my PC to bits to make sure I wasn't mixing up my motherboards, and I do indeed need a sata/IDE adapter or IDE/USB. Really annoying as I have 600gb of hard drives and no way to use them! With my current setup I have 45gb left on my 300gb drive and I've only got games installed (mainly in Steam) and about 24gb of music (my own, ripped from CDs).

These games that are getting released are getting bigger and bigger. It's ridiculous (well not really, considering the file size needed for the quality these days!) that I've got next to no room, and I've cleared off ALL unnecessary backups, etc.

Oh, and there was so much dust in the PC, I've had to wipe down my room before I sneezed myself inside out :D
