Do IP profiles only change when a line drops/reconnects or can they do it while it's still active? I guess I'm asking is this a hardware configuration or a software configuration setup (I guess the latter). I've never had trouble with IP profiles fortunately. but they do like sticking me on interleaving in the first few months despite never having had it before.

It can happen at any time and that will force a resync.
