2700 power supplies

I've just had my second power supply fail (the router just goes into a power up cycle, dropping and re-booting just after the power LED goes solid green). It's not the router, same power supply on a different router produces the same result, new PSO on old router and everything is fine again.

In my experience, this seems to be a weak point with 2700s, and I wondered if anyone had found an alternative, better made PSU for the unit?

I agree Rik it seems to be the week link and it makes sense to have a spare. The best way seems to be buy an extra 2700 on ebay and keep it for spares.

I bought a couple of spare PSUs from DigiDave a while back, and whilst I haven't used them for the 2700 yet, I do use one of them for charging up my sat nav, and they seem to work fine.

What's the spec of the PSU? It may be possible to get something suitable from Maplins or CPC/Farnell.

Suitable power supplies are readily available, but it is cheaper to buy a complete 2700HGV off Ebay.
