Power supply - tip -ve or +ve

You often see a little diagram on the device as to whether the inner or outer is positive

There is an indicator on the back of the Power Supply block.

And whilst unlikely, they could be a change in spec between models - it has happened before on other devices, so giving one answer could actually be wrong.



I'm desperately trying to figure out why kamikaze pilots wore helmets.

I have 3, they are all center pin positive, outer negative, assuming we are talking about the PS for a 2700 which I'm sure we are.

Yes we are, thanks. I'm having trouble with iTunes 9.2 and had disconnected my 2Wire and gone back to my Netgear DG834GT unfortunately splitting the changeable tip thingy on the PS - hence my question.
