I guess it's possible that your neighbour's building works could have an affect your line quality particularly if your line is susceptible to noise, which a long line probably would be. On the other hand it might just be coincidence. I am pretty sure that your current level of throughput is what's causing the issues with WoW though.

Your router attenuation and s/n figures might give an indication of what's going on.

ADSL Link     Downstream     Upstream
Connection Speed    1152 kbps    288 kbps
Line Attenuation    57.0 db    30.0 db
Noise Margin    19.7 db    19.0 db

How does that look then? I cant say i made a note of what it was previous when it was working fine.

It doesn't look particularly good to me but someone with superior knowledge to mine will be along shortly I hope  :)

Contacted IDNet support by phone, they told me i had to send screenshots of the BT speedtester as only BT log the results not them, ive sent them an email detailing the speeds and what time i did them, but i havent bothered to screenshot the previous tests i did as i didnt think it was needed. I will do that from now on mind :P

Did another test just which came out at 71kbps. My connection should be giving speeds of 800-1000 when perfect (which i know it has been in the past).

Nah Worcestershire countryside.

Ok just a followup. I bought a new router today and set it up and it seems to have sorted the problem. The BT speedtest shows a data rate of 950 rather than the 50-70 its been showing. Download speeds are back to 100+ k/s and Wow is stable! so fingers crossed that was the problem!

Thanks for all time and effort people put into helping me out, was appriciated!

Good news,  hope it's permanently solved your problem :thumb: :fingers:
