Ah, can't view websites or anything

I can't get to any websites or any other services.

I have powered down my router for about an hour and i still can't do anything.
My router shows its in sync with the exchange but nothing else.

I'm in Glasgow so i don't think the guildford brae outage would be affecting me.

I sent an email to support@idnet.com at around 6pm but i have had no reply.

any help would be much appreciated

Call 0800 701 2000 and tell them you've no connection,they should call back

There was a BT outage in Glasgow early yesterday am which was said to have cleared the same day.

Yeah I see the outage from yesterday that was affecting my area too (014189), didn't seem to have any problems.

Gave them a call and a message to ring back, let's see

I only briefly tested mine this morning and i still had no internet access, however i did get email aswell with the following.

It would appear BT had a major service outage in the 
Glasgow area affecting customers with an 01417 and 01418 area code. This
outage has now been resolved. Please retest your connection and do let
us know if you continue to have difficulty.

If you still notice speed problems please could you complete a test at
www.speedtester.bt.com and send the results through to us so we can take
a good look at the problem for you.

I spoke to support. There have been 6 of us north of the border so far that have reported this problem. I was told that it has now been reported to BT and in addition to that each case has been reported as individual cases too. A thread is going to be started for us to keep an eye on over on the Service Announcements page.

I'm doing this from my mobile which isn't getting 3G where I am just now so surfing is excruciatingly slow. If someone could post a link to it that would be dandy.
