There is at present a malicious redirect to a .ru domain on the DSLZONE forum index page.  Do be aware.

I try never to go near DSL Zone, Dorset, but thanks. :)

Likewise but it came up at Kitz so I checked it and yes it is there. A lot of people do still go there and may be caught out.

Was it just one poster? Most likely a single forumite/spam bot than the entire site. However, with third party adverts on a page, anything can happen. (Do they have adds?)
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Is this connected at all

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-10714192   and are we at risk?   :dunno:

We don't use that particular forum software, Den, Idnetters forum uses SMF software by Simple Machines LLC.

If that's the vBulletin alert, we should be OK, Den, as we are SMF.

Wow, vBulletin making the BBC technology page's lead news story. You have to be doing something very right or in this case very wrong for that to happen :eyebrow:

Thats what you think

Every software has bugs / holes, its just the case of finding them  >:D

DorsetBoy

There can't have been many sites affected as vB3.8.6 had only been available for download just before the discovery of the coding error. The patch was released within hours of the exploits discovery.

I always find the bugs that stop you being able to do your job at work.  :shake:

Yep. Another one today.
"I'll just show you how to..." says the manager. I press the button I am told to press and get a "system resource not found" kind of message.  :slap:

Might not have to worry about any computers soon. Will have to see how it goes.

I don't worry about them, Ben, I despair of them. ;D
