Hi all, new here and I've been told your a fairly knowledgeable bunch of people?

I was just wondering if anymore can been squeezed from my line at all?

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 20300 kbps 1023 kbps
Line Attenuation 25.5 db 11.7 db
Noise Margin 3.4 db 10.5 db

Those are the stats, i never drop connection, it's plugged in the master with no ring wire, and the line is new.

Any suggestions would be grateful.

Rik

Not a lot, I'd say. I'm guessing you're with the dreaded Kingston? You're above the normal estimation for those stats, so I'd say you're doing OK. :)

You guess correct, im with kc not had any problems. I also seem to be only kc user that isnt affected by peak time slow downs.

Could wait untill the fibre roll out is complete in the area. :thumb:

If they're anything like BT, you'll have to. ;D

Well rik, we've been adsl2+ for nearly 3 years so ahead of bt in some aspects.

There are reports of them rolling fibre out, of upto 300 megs.

Im not so sure great if it was, as theres a green cabinet at the end of the street approx 100 yards. So would have ultra fast speeds  :fingers:

Bill

There are some who'd kill for those stats... aren't there Rik?  :P

I'd consider a bit of light GBH myself
